Welcome to Palazzo Ruspoli

Today we meet Giuliana Cecchini, receptionist at Palazzo Ruspoli

I was born in Florence and I live in Scandicci. I graduated at the hotel school in Florence as hotel receptionist. I worked as a waiter and I studied two years in London in 5-star hotel and two years in Monaco of Bavaria as a chambermaid and housekeeper at a major international hotel chain. I obtained two language diplomas in both working experiences. I have always worked in the hospitality world and it is a job that I really like and gives much satisfaction. For over twenty years I worked at the reception of the Hotel Brunelleschi and, for about seven years, I am receptionist at the Bed and Breakfast Palazzo Ruspoli.

The bed and breakfast in Florence has the elegant atmosphere of a Florentine house and it is really at a short walk from the Duomo. The entrance of the Duomo, also known as Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is at forty metres away from Palazzo Ruspoli!

The bed and breakfast, totally renovated, is located on the third and fourth floors of Palazzo Ruspoli. This is here that I do my work. The reception is open from 8 am to 11 am and from 14 to 18.30.

In the bed and breakfast it exudes a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Our customers are often in Florence for short stays and I like to give them more detailed information as possible so as not to miss the chance to visit a museum or take a nice walk in unknown places. I like conversing with the guests. Palazzo Ruspoli is the right choice for its central location and the ancient magical atmosphere.

I really like to spend my free time with my family and friends. In particular, I have a real passion for music: I really love to listen and go to live concerts and, if guests are interested in musical events, I try to give them all the information on concerts in and around Florence and give advice on how to reach the location in which they take place.
