Exhibition at the ferragamo museum in florence
The Amazing shoemaker
If you love fashion and shoes visit the exhibition "The amazing shoemaker" at the Ferragamo Museum in Florence open until 31st May 2014. The event represents a meeting between art and fashion, fairytale and reality, totally unexpected and original. It is the exposure of a dream narrator as Salvatore Ferragamo and imagined shoemakers, protagonists of books, cartoons and movies that have become part of our culture.
The exhibition "The amazing shoemaker" is in Palazzo Spini Feroni in Piazza Santa Trinità, where you will also find two short films made specifically for the occasion: The rainbow and the lost bride by Francesco Fei and White Shoe by Mauro Borrelli, and 26 plates of a comic book by Frank Espinosa inspired to the life of Ferragamo. The exhibition is curated by Stefania Ricci, Sergio Risaliti and Luca Scarlini. The opening hours are from 10 am to 19.30 (closed on 1 January, 1 May, 15 August, 25 December). The entrance fee is € 6.00 per person.
We wait for you for a holiday of shopping and design at our B & B in the historic center, a few steps from the Duomo, with buffet breakfast and free Wi-Fi included in the price.
