Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence

The ninth edition of the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence will be held from Saturday, November 30 to Sunday, December 8 at the exhibition spaces of the Fortezza da Basso.
This year, the New Florence Biennial regarding Contemporary Art is entitled "Ethics: DNA of Art" and it aims to define a critical reflection on the relationship between ethic, aesthetics and the role of the arts in the new millennium.
An objective pursued through the launch of talented young people, which will measure their own artistic skills and creativity by experimenting with new media.
During the manifestation there will be educational activities, creative workshops, seminars and meetings with international professionals, as well as important events that aim to make it as strong as possible the union with the Florentine territory.
In this regard, particular interesting will be the installations and performances by artists in one of the greatest setting of the place.
Visitors will be able to access by payment every day, from 10:00 to 20:00.
