An interview with Tokiko

I was born in Japan and today I live in Florence. I came to Florence 20 years ago. When I arrived in Italy I started studying the Italian language immediately and I did various work experiences as a shop assistant. Then, I started working in various hotels at breakfast service and today I really enjoy working in this area.

I take care of the preparation and the service of breakfast at the Bed and Breakfast Palazzo Ruspoli, located in the heart of the historic centre.

What I like most about my job is the familiar atmosphere of Palazzo Ruspoli and the opportunity to meet guests from all over the world.

I really like to make sure everything is in order in the breakfast room so that guests can enjoy breakfast and start the day in the best possible way.

I love this job because, working in the morning, it allows me to have the rest of the day free to spend with my family, to pamper my cats or to enjoy the city.

Florence is a very beautiful city with many interesting places to visit. To those who are interested I suggest to make walks at dawn: you can observe the city with a very special light.

The bed and breakfast Palazzo Ruspoli is in a good location: it is perfect for those who want to visit Florence without having to waste time with moving. All major monuments are within walking distance in a few minutes and this allows you to fully enjoy your holiday in Italy.
