You will find over seventy works by artists such as Michelangelo, Bronzino, Giorgio Vasari, Rosso Fiorentino, Pontormo, Santi di Tito, Giambologna, Bartolomeo Ammannati in dialogue with each other. It is the final act in a trilogy of exhibitions curated by Carlo Falciani and Antonio Natali which began with Bronzino in 2010 and was followed by Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino in 2014. The exhibition explores an era of outstanding cultural and intellectual talent marked both by the Counter-Reformation of the Council of Trent and by the personality of Francesco I de’ Medici, one of the greatest figures in the history of courtly patronage of the arts in Europe.
The exhibition also provides Palazzo Strozzi with a fantastic opportunity to forge synergies with museums and institutions both in Tuscany and internationally, with a major campaign of restorations launched specifically for the exhibition.

The exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi will be open every day, including holidays from 10 am to 8 pm.
On Thursday you can enjoy the exhibition even late in the evening: opening from 10 am to 11 pm.
