Eataly and Palazzo Ruspoli

Eataly in Florence is located in the central Via Martelli, right in front of our bed and breakfast and a few steps from the Cathedral.
The megastore dedicated to quality food takes up the traditional format: buy, eat and learn. It is over three floors and it will present a wide selection of classic Tuscan products. The ground floor houses a library, an ice cream shop, a large bar and a patisserie, and a series of ‘thematic restaurants’, including the restaurant of the ‘lampredotto’, a typical street food in Florence. On the first floor it continues the offer of books which shares space with the "Osteria del Vino Libero’, an area consacrated to the purchase of renowned wines and beers, and a prestigious panoramic terrace. The floor is completed by a gourmet restaurant ‘DaVinci’, led by the young chef Enrico Panero. On the second and last floor there are three classrooms: ‘Eatinerari’, ‘Rinascimento’ and ‘Del Vino’, where, in February, it will start courses in nutrition education for children and adults.
Inside the edifice there will also be a museum devoted to the Renaissance, with audio guides available for customers and tourists.
